About the event
This workshop is a CLASSROOM based workshop where we go into the functional movements of paddling. Learn to understand your body mechanics, muscle movement work to enable your body more effectively to generate power in your stroke, as well as develop a more natural feeling of paddling. Learn also how males and females work differently and yet can produce the same power. We go specifically into SPRINT racing, looking at strokes, race strategy, conditining, competitor analysis , and training tools.
Come learn from 8 x World Womens Outrigger champion, and International Paddling Coach, Vesna Radonich who 0has over 23 years of waka ama experience, 15 years world champion in both individual and team events, personal trainer and international paddling coach. First NZ woman to win ELITE W1 500m and been apart of 10 years National Champion Open Womens team “Kaiarahi Toa”.
